Privacy Policy

Modern Painters LLC (doing business as “Modern Painters LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights, when you visit modernpainterswi.com (the “Site”) or use our services.

1. Information We Collect

• Information you provide: name, email, phone number, service address, project details, and any information you enter into our estimate or contact forms or provide during a consultation.
• Estimate & transaction data: appointments scheduled, services requested, and related communications.
• Automatically collected: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and similar analytics data collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Consent records: where you opt in to communications, we record the date, time, IP address, and the consent language shown.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to inquiries and provide estimates; schedule, perform, and follow up on services; send appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, scheduling, and service-related messages (by email, phone, and — where you have opted in — SMS); improve our Site and services; maintain security; and comply with legal obligations.

3. SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in to SMS, we send you estimate follow-ups, appointment reminders, scheduling, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

4. Mobile Information & Third Parties

No mobile information (including phone numbers collected for SMS) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties except subprocessors that operate our messaging on our behalf (e.g., our SMS platform provider) solely to deliver the messages you requested. This exclusion does not apply to other, non-SMS parts of this policy where sharing is described.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as follows: with service providers / subprocessors (e.g., CRM, SMS platform, scheduling, analytics, hosting) who process it on our behalf under contract; with professional advisors (legal, accounting); when required by law or to protect our rights and safety; and in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information. See Section 4 for the specific, stricter rule governing mobile/SMS data.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations (including consent records retained for at least 4 years), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You may unsubscribe from emails via the unsubscribe link and from SMS by replying STOP.

10. Wisconsin & U.S. Residents

This Site is operated in the United States and intended for U.S. residents. We do not knowingly serve customers outside the U.S. For any state-specific privacy rights, contact us to exercise applicable rights; we do not sell personal information as defined by those laws.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
